My name is Hana Chmelikova and you can find my artwork signed by HCH. Hanouk is my artistic name. Without any formal artistic education I started to sketch some ten years ago. Since then, I have been drawing, painting and etching ...

My artistic career is guided by my two Masters who lead me through the world of art.

Patricia Cordoba, Master in etching techniques. It was her who wanted me to get angry and made me sketch the rennaisance statues under the time limit. I loved to spend many rainy autumn days in her studio spinning the large steer of the huge ancient graphic press to disclose new graphic mysteries. It was time of experimenting.

Since 2009 I my artistic career has been strongly influenced by Wim Drion (established painter based in Amsterdam and Greece). Wim gave me a brush and pushed me into colours. Thanks to him, I have started to look out from my black-and-white perspective. With his talent (both artistic and personal) Wim deprived me of clichés and keeps giving me a thrill to go ahead. I always appreciate his critics.
